About

FAME provides support to Mendon High School music & theatre students, department programs and faculty. FAME is a not-for-profit, parent volunteer run organization, and is open to, and welcomes, all families and friends of Mendon Music and/or Theatre. Parent volunteers are essential to FAME’s survival & success.
These events have allowed FAME to award music scholarships each year to graduating Mendon HS Seniors pursuing music education or music performance in college.
FAME also helps to support Mendon HS music events, master classes, trips, NYSSMA fees, All State and All County Festival participant fees, senior recognition awards, music & sound equipment, instruments, and other music department needs not supported by the Pittsford Central School District budget.
FAME’s main fundraising events include a fall chicken barbecue and our annual February Cabaret Night Concert.
